For Hospitals

As with any large clinical study, there is a recommended minimum requirement to be fulfilled by any participating institution. The recommended minimum requirements for hospital participation in the WARFARIN Study are:

• Hospital must have clinical research infrastructure. That is, other research is conducted there, and there are research personnel such as a Research Coordinator to help with the study.
• Hospital must regularly start patients on warfarin therapy.
